Great New Books for Kids

The school holidays are over – but that doesn’t mean kids can’t slip a good book in after their homework or on the weekends. In a recent scholarly paper, it was found that reading for pleasure is critical to developing literacy skills. If we encourage kids to open books beyond their curriculum and lose themselves in the stories within, they are more likely to perform better in their grades. What’s more, they’ll cultivate a lifelong love of reading. And what a bountiful gift that is!
